Carole Arena is the former owner/innkeeper of THE OCEAN VIEW, an oceanfront Inn, on Kennebunk Beach, Maine. She called it "the closest you'll find to a bed on the beach".  Now retired, she has finally finished her recipe book that she started 20 years ago, a book filled with memories and recipes of her days as an innkeeper.  Beginning her career with the White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport, continuing with her own Inn, The Ocean View on Kennebunk Beach and ending with The Cottages at Cabot Cove in Kennebunkport, ME.
This unique book has lots of photos, over 200 recipes, each with its own story.  Beginning with "breakfast appetizers", it takes you on a food journey filled with passion and love.
